Browse Discover, open a title and select an episode if needed. Check that filtering is available for your chosen service.
Select the scenes you want to skip, then choose Watch filtered. Sign in or create your MuviSafe account to continue.
Follow the connection prompt for Netflix or Prime Video. For the initial connection, use Chrome on a computer and install or update the MuviSafe extension when prompted. Sign in to your streaming service to finish connecting.
Return to your selected title and watch in the MuviSafe player. Use the gear to change scene filters and the speech bubble for audio and subtitles. If your connection expires, follow the prompt to reconnect.
Netflix and Prime Video support filtered playback inside MuviSafe. You need your own streaming account and access to the selected title in your region. Apple TV guides are public, but filtering is coming soon. Disney+ and HBO Max filtering are also coming soon.
Use an updated Chrome browser on a computer for setup and playback. The extension connects your account. The MuviSafe player plays the video. On another device, sign in to the same MuviSafe account. Web playback depends on browser support for protected video, so phones, tablets and TV browsers are not guaranteed to work. Android, Android TV and iOS apps remain on the waitlist.
A public title guide does not mean filtering is available. Check the selected service, movie or episode for available filters. MuviSafe does not unlock titles outside your streaming plan or region. Filtering uses the available scene timings and your choices. It does not guarantee that every unwanted moment is covered.
